"Oh God, He Appears Very Bad!" - Ruud Gullit Dele Alli's Performance Criticism

Gullit criticized Alli and a number of other Tottenham Hotspur players after they lost to Ajax in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
Former Dutch national team Ruud Gullit criticized the appearance of a number of Tottenham Hotspur players, including Dele Alli, following a 1-0 defeat to Ajax in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday (1/5) early this morning.

Spurs were forced to acknowledge the victory of the Dutch giants, who in the last game scored his only goal through a Donny van de Beek kick in the 15th minute.

The home team did not play with the best strength because of the loss of Harry Kane who was injured and Son Heung-Min who was absent due to card accumulation, not to mention Jan Vertonghen had to be pulled out because of an injury to the nose.

Gullit felt the Tottenham players had failed to cover the absence of a number of important players, and he did not cover his disappointment after seeing Alli's appearance.

"For me, many players are disappointing because I see them every week in the Premier League," Gullit said on beIN Sports.

"Dele Alli - Oh God, in terms of technique, it's very bad!

"[Victor] Wanyama - Oh God, from a technical standpoint, [Danny] Rose, in terms of technique, is also bad. As I said, I see them every week and I think: ‘How is this possible?’ So many mistakes.

"I know they are under pressure, but they must know what to do and they fail."

Regardless of this defeat, Spurs can still retaliate in the second leg which is planned to be held at the Johan Cruijff Arena on Thursday (9/5) early morning WIB.
